HIV And Hepatitis

Anyone wishing to compete in an American Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Sanctioned event, must have a negative HIV and Hepatitis C and B test, if required by the state in which the event is held, within six months of the event in which he or she is competing.

A competitor can get tested in many ways.  He/she can go to his/her personal physician, which is often the most expensive method.  The competitor can also go to the health department in the county in which he/she lives.  This is the cheapest, and the slowest.

As a registered American Amateur MMA competitor, you have a third option.  You can get a discount from a nation wide network of labs, called Request A Test.  Just click on the link below and follow the directions.

Any competitor, without a copy of his or her negative test results, will not be allowed to compete if required by the state in which the event is held.
